Saheli Safar
Description
Saheli Safar is a women-only mobile application designed to make the daily commute in Karachi feel safe, affordable, and reliable. The idea is based on rickshaw pooling for women, allowing students and early career professionals to share rides with Sahelis. The rickshaw captains are verified, well-trained, and constantly monitored to ensure the safety of our passengers. The passengers go through an onboarding journey to ensure that the person registering to use this service is a woman, and the profile is verified by the Saheli Safar Team before any applicant is approved to access the mobile app. This system ensures that the safety of women during commute is never compromised.
